Intelligent water cleaning robot adds color to the Expo

An intelligent cleaning surface robot developed by Intelligent Machinery Research Institute of Hefei Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences- Intelligent cleaning No. 1 appeared on the Huangpu River in Shanghai, causing widespread concern. Intelligent cleaning No. 1 is an unmanned high-intelligence water surface robot successfully developed by Hefei Intelligent Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Its maximum displacement exceeds 5 tons and it can clean more than 3m3 of floating objects on the water surface in one operation. Compared with the small landscape lakes and urban rivers in the inland, the Huangpu River in the B- Class navigation area is recognized by tidal current, shore wall effect, optical mirror effect of water surface and waterfront boundary, it poses great challenges to the surface robot technology. After several years of research and technical research, the researchers developed the first domestic water surface robot capable of operating in Class B navigation area. Its functions and key technologies include: it has three operation modes: Fully Autonomous cruise, remote driving and remote control; Have the ability of automatic path identification and automatic obstacle avoidance in complex waters and narrow rivers; Adopting new energy hybrid power technology, it has a new type of power drive and energy management system for ships; Aiming at the water environment of Huangpu River with large tidal gradient, fast flow velocity and shore wall effect, the hull and propulsion system adopt collaborative optimization design and dynamic simulation, which can be seaworthy in high-speed turbulent B- Class navigation area; A redundancy, multi-parameter and multi-degree-of-freedom adaptive control system for underdriven systems is developed to ensure the agility, reliability and robustness of Hull cruising in complex waters. The successful development of this product can replace manual and efficient water surface cleaning operations and realize the industrialization of Unmanned cleaning ships. China has abundant water resources, but for many years, due to various reasons, the current situation of China's water ecological environment is not optimistic. For a long time, the cleaning and monitoring of rivers and lakes in our country have mainly relied on manual work, with low efficiency, long period and limited monitoring scope, making it difficult to effectively control them, rivers, rivers, lakes, reservoirs, landscape waters, etc. are blackened and smelly due to floating objects, untreated industrial wastewater and domestic sewage, which not only destroy biodiversity and ecological balance, it also brings serious harm to human drinking water safety and health. Therefore, intelligent, automatic, safe and efficient water surface cleaning equipment is urgently needed. The state has successively issued policies and regulations such as 'water ten articles' and 'river length system', and the construction of ecological civilization has been raised to an unprecedented height. However, there is no practical water surface cleaning robot or similar products at home and abroad at present. Most of the existing water surface cleaning unmanned ships are remote control or adopt the unmanned operation function of embedded systems, lack of artificial intelligence software and hardware technology based on high-speed computing platform and intelligent perception, so the degree of intelligence and automation is low, the level of wind and wave resistance is low, and the cleaning operation function is weak, it can only operate in waters with small winds and waves such as landscape lakes. Strictly speaking, it is only a primary unmanned ship and cannot realize fully autonomous intelligent cleaning operations. As a National Intelligent Machinery Research Institute, the Intelligent Machinery Research Institute actively cooperates with the national demand. The intelligent cleaning water surface robot hosted by Dr. Yu Daoyang of Liu Jinhuai team has achieved the autonomous operation capability of Class B navigation area for the first time, and realized industrialization and made due contributions to the realization of a beautiful China. According to the head of the research team, the existing technology can be expanded according to customer needs for water quality mobile monitoring, water ecological restoration and management, hydrogeological detection and mapping, emergency rescue, important water security, etc.
